For the past few years, this issue hit it all over the internet yet still undecided which is which. So let us witness as I list their each distinctive merits.

Both Nokia E63 and BlackBerry Curve 8520 fully supports the QWERTY keyboard which neatly fits in your hand. With QWERTY keyboard, typing and sending messages makes it so comfortable.
Nokia E63 weighs much than BlackBerry Curve 8520 for about 20g where in Nokia E63 weighs 126g and 106g for BlackBerry Curve 8520. The lighter, the more comfortable you used to it. So, BlackBerry Curve 8520 got it.
Their LCD size tied up for 320x240 pixels which are both presentably great.
BlackBerry Curve 8520 has dedicated media keys(like shortcut keys) that can be found at the top part which can control music. Skip over songs, pause music if someone's calling you, or repeat your favorites over and over. You can all do that with the easy-access buttons.
Nokia E63 uses the "old school" navigation button while BlackBerry Curve 8520 has the newest trackpad navigation which your finger glides over it.
Features
BlackBerry Curve 8520 supports more audio formats than Nokia E63, BUT, Nokia has the ability to be connected to a amplifier due to its audio jack supported.
They have both Wi-Fi enabled and Bluetooth supported, so, nothing much to say about this.
Nokia E63 got the GPS supported, therefore those who loves camping, well this phone fits you.
Unfortunately, these two aren't touchscreen supported. >:D
Technology
They're both Java supported, and luckily Nokia E63 have an OS called Symbian OS 9.2(sorry not familiar with that). Well unfortunately, it wasn't an android. LOL.
