Face-off: Cracker vs Hacker

Which is the bad guy and which have the good purpose? Let's make it to the point for the reason it's been a while since I updated this blog.

A hacker?
A person who enjoys exploring the details of programmable systems and how to stretch their capabilities, as opposed to most users, who prefer to learn only the minimum necessary. A hacker. Wiki's definition.

Basically, we know that the hacker is a bad-mad-man-who-does-not-know-computer-ethics thingy. But if you'll describe a hacker, it's hard. Parang dinedescribe mo lang ang hangin. Indefinite, unsure. Although the term existed in early 60's and been around for like centuries. Hackers nowadays are remembered as the bad with dark missions in  the world of web. But not all, I mean, hackers are originally derived as "cracker" which has the good deeds.

And a cracker?
I tried to search for the word "cracker" in Wiki and somehow didn't find any useful information aside from it's a salty biscuit food. Haha.
As far as I know, crackers are in for a job for a good purpose. BUT, of course not all crackers. Crackers that has good purpose in some cases are hired to protect files or simply will make a program to fight against hacker, providing penetration testing services or otherwise making efforts on the side of the angels. Many others use their powers for evil, however, as we are all too painfully aware. Yes a hacker.

To make the water more clear. A hacker came from a cracker. Wherein a cracker is the good side and the hacker is the, ugh, black sheep okay. (It's like a movie, betrayed by his own race. Haha).

I hope you finally got the jargons. If not, read again. If still not working, you'll find these persons under your bed tonight. Haha.

HACKERS AND CRACKERS. If I didn't made your identities correctly, don't hesitate to pm me. I hope they're not that sensitive. T.T

See ya peeps! :))
